Wontide Polyurethane Wheel Chock can be used for preventing accidental movement of trucks, trailers, and other wheeled vehicles. It is made of molded polyurethane for durability and resistance to shock, abrasion, oils, solvents, with less weight than metal chocks. The chock has a textured, curved contact surface to prevent slipping, and a molded handle to aid in positioning and removal.
Wheel Chocks are often placed against the front and rear side of the vehicle’s wheels to prevent accidental backward movement but may also be used to block forward movement. They are a supplementary hazard control used in addition to the vehicle’s normal braking system, which may be insufficient to completely halt the movement of large vehicles.
